Terms and Conditions for BlueKat Design
All Commission Work
All commission work undertaken is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below PLUS:
A commission will be undertaken initially with no fee for a consultation period.
This constitutes of:
An initial, informal chat about your requirements, including design ideas, material ideas, budget and if you have one, a deadline date.
Approximately a week later there will be a second informal chat about the design where you have the opportunity to change things around if you want to.
If any changes have been made, there will be another discussion approximately a week after this to finalise the design.
You will be allowed up to 2 major changes resulting in a consultation period of up to FOUR weeks
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be taken upon approval of the design.
NO other changes to the design, budget or deadline date can be made at this point of the process.
You will be advised of the period of making time at this point.
By sending your deposit you agree that it is non-refundable as you are securing my time and the purchasing of materials specifically for your commission.
The item(s) will be photographed when complete and emailed to you along with an invoice for the remaining 50% of the balance.
Your item(s) will then be available for postage or collection upon receipt of the remaining balance.

Any purchases up to £50 will incur a £4.50 postage and packaging charge.
Any purchases over £50 (up £75) will be £6.50

Multiple items may incur an additional charge due to the size of packaging, please contact me before purchase if you're unsure.
Returns will be accepted within 14 days of receipt for:
Damaged items.
I aim to send things out in their most perfect condition, however accidents do sometimes happen.
The item can be repaired and resent (no additional postal costs), or a full item price refund given upon return of damaged goods.
Unsuitable items.
I try to be as accurate as possible with images and descriptions, however seeing something in the flesh is never the same as looking on a computer screen.
If you are not happy with your purchase, in the first instance contact me to discuss any issues.
An alternative can be sent, or full item price refund given upon return of the item
Postage and packaging will NOT be refunded

Returns will not be accepted in the following circumstances:
Any jewellery that has been custom made.
Earrings that have been removed from the sealed bag and/or card (this is due to a possibility of infection, think pants!.
Parts of sets.
If an item of jewellery is not required, then the full set needs to be returned in order for a refund to be given.
E.G. you don't like the necklace, but do like the earrings.
Please return the full set, and I may be able to make something you do like!
